The Swim England South East Region Swimming Championships are held twice a year. The Long Course championships in April/May and the Short Course 'Winter' championships in November.
To qualify to compete in the regional championships swimmers need to have achieved a qualifying time at a suitable licenced gala. Generally for the long course event any time achieved at Level 3/2/1 gala is suitable. For the short course winter championships a short course qualifying time at a level 3 or 2 gala is required and Long course conversion are not accepted.
