RTW kick off their Diddy League in style

RTW Monson's younger swimmers were out in force on Sunday 23rd April taking part in the National Junior Swimming League.

This was the first of three rounds in the annual event. Monson's first round kicked off in Basildon with Monson coming a credible 4th out of 8 teams. Monson showed their strength in the youngest age groups with both the boys and girls 9 year age groups coming 1st, 2nd and 3rd in nearly all there events.

Izzie Mercer, 11 years old, won both the 50 metres Butterfly and Freestyle events comfortably looking very strong in her age group. Alex Turton and Mimi Vorster were fantastic team captains ensuring all swimmers supported their fellow team mates.
