Open Water events

Swimmers interested in taking part in open water events are invited to head to the Kent ASA website where you will find details about no fewer than 3 events taking place soon.
The 2016 KCASA Open Water Championships on Sat 25 June comprise a 2km sea swim at Dover Harbour and also a 1km swim (wetsuits allowed)
The ASA South East Region 2016 Open Water Championship Competition takes place on 9th July at Westhampnett Lake near Chichester.
The ASA London Region Open Water Swimming Competition on 10th July takes place at the Surrey Docks Watersports Centre, SE16 7SX. There are various events including a taster 1km event, and options to race with and without a wetsuit.
Swimmers interested in the last event (London on 10th July) should email Sandra Beele before the end of May to let her know as we have to supply a coach for this event if we have over a certain number of swimmers.
